It was like a fairy tale when Joan Laporta said there was an offer from a club trying to offer Lamine Yamal a transfer fee of 200 million euros and he firmly rejected it. I mean, if what he said was true he should have released Lamine Yamal and when else could he produce that much for a player. Apart from that, the offer also seems unreasonable because Lamine Yamal, who is still 16 years old, has a team that costs him 200 million euros and his market value even exceeds that of Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe.
I can't understand why Barcelona has a club president as funny as Joan Laporta and he continues to create sensations amidst the club's decline due to the financial crisis. I think again, if the offer was real, 200 million should be able to fix existing financial problems and on the other hand he could buy better players for long-term investment. Isn't that quite reasonable? but once again this is just a ridiculous statement from the club president and I don't believe it.
Laporta didn't evne know how to treat his club even better. Rejecting a 200 million offer for Yamal, and yeah, that's a pure sensation from him. So many times he created this non sense thing. I remember when he was also making some sensational news about Barcelona's players. It seems like that Laporta has the ambition to use this to make Lamine's price go up.
This is an old trick the gold guy uses to make his favorite players famous. I think that if this news is real and im sure that it has already leaked it's kinda of different since laporta says nothing regarding who club that was sending an offer to get him.
Laporta sent a signal through this news if he wants other club who is interesting in yamal to pay more than 200 millions. Barcelona needs money to pay its debt and no doubt that laporta used any trick to ensure his club will able to raised a lot of money.
