De Bruyne misses friendly matches for the Belgium national team due to a groin injury. As far as we know, the injury is minor, most likely just a sprain, but apparently Guardiola does not want to take risks before important matches and in order not to put additional stress on the KDB, he decided to stay in the team to recover. This is the right decision, because if De Bruyne is added to Ederson at this stage, it will weaken the team.
