Even though Man Utd has won the last clash with Liverpool 4-3 (FA cup quarterfinals), experts give them only 23% chance of winning again the league game on 7th April.
Probably because they know that FA cup isn't Liverpool's priority this season. Also, looking at the 4-3 score itself could give a distorted picture of how the game went. Liverpool have been winning for almost entire 2nd half, until Man Utd scored the equalizer in the 87th minute. Liverpool took the lead again in the over time, but United managed to score another 2 goals. The gam was quite even but United had a lot of luck on their side.
The upcoming league game won't be easy and there's a big chance Liverpool will lose some points in Manchester.
The atmosphere in matches between competitions is definitely different, so I think it's natural why Liverpool are favorites in the Premier League match against Manchester United even though Liverpool lost their last match in the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Manchester United certainly has home advantage against Liverpool, but I'm sure Liverpool will play better than them. Liverpool are fighting for the title not a place in the Champions League, so they will fight better than Manchester United. However, the probability will change because both of them still have several other difficult matches, so I can't predict much at the moment between Manchester United vs Liverpool.
