It is obvious that Manchester United has been inconsistent since this season. This inconsistency is not just caused by only one factor as we all can be a record. In this season's English Premier League, there are a lot of clubs that are very inconsistent such as Manchester United, Chelsea FC and even Tottenham Hotspur. When the season started it was Tottenham that was sitting right at the top of the league for some weeks until the fell behind and now in the number four position. Apart from the general inconsistency of the clubs which is associated with this seasons English Premier League performance, you can also understand that the Manchester United coach has never had a handful of his layers available to make a good choice. If you check the left back wing, Luke Shaw has been off the field for some weeks if not months and also Malacia who was bought to assist him is nowhere to be found. This actually made Erik have a very tough season especially in making defensive choices. But then all these are verbal reasons, if ETH cannot qualify Manchester United to play the Champions League next season his position might be wanting in the club next season.
Newcastle United is also having a bad season but, sky sports and the english media will not do all these bullshit they're doing with Erik Ten Hag, why's that?
