Real Madrid were given headache and a tough time by Girona and now they are ahead of them and you think they are going to relax and feel comfortable? They will not, just be looking at their next games and you will understand that they don't look comfortable, they will continue to destroy any team that comes their way because even Barcelona are not backing down from the race, a slight mistake from Real Madrid will give them more ginger and confidence to win more matches, 8 point can be broken if they are not careful.
The competition has become much tougher as we are entering the end of the season and any team will definitely not allow it to lose points to continue being in its current position. In contrast to Real Madrid, they are already ahead at the top of the standings and Ancelotti will definitely not let the moment to reach the championship slip away. Barcelona is a little more difficult to reach the top because their conditions do not allow it, especially since they have to focus on the Champions League.The last time Real Madrid faced Manchester City in the Champions League, they were more than comfortable in the Laliga than even the Champions League because the gap was like that in 2021/2022 and Manchester City was even leading in the first leg but eventually they win in the second leg to proceed to the final. I want them to win Laliga though but would be fair if they allow Manchester to win the Champions League this time. 
In the first leg, they managed to hold Manchester City to a draw at home, but when they played at the Etihad stadium, they had to admit Manchester City's superiority. Now the competition is still the same and both have the opportunity to advance to the next round and it depends on how the coach can master the strategy to win the match. Even so, I prefer Real Madrid this season even though Manchester City was a candidate to win the previous season.
