You know, it's exactly that kind of thinking that sometimes makes Madrid beyond our expectations.
At the moment, Madrid do have a lot of problems because some of their players are injured and unfortunately it is the main players in the defense but from the beginning of the season until now Madrid is still strong enough to stay in good consistency.
We realize that Manchester City must be different from Leipzig because in terms of team strength and player conditions they must be much better but when two big clubs meet especially in this competition Madrid and Manchester City are strong candidates for the championship and Madrid are champions two seasons ago and Manchester City won last season then this status will make the match less predictable.
Everything has a downside at the end of the day and not only Madrid have a downside with the loss of their current players but also Manchester City who are missing their main goalkeeper.

So given this status, it is possible that the match will become more unpredictable and the view of Madrid could be a mistake when underestimated.

I agree with this because indeed the view of Madrid which is said to always be weak without the core players in defense is always one of the reasons that Madrid will struggle but indeed until now their performance continues to be very good and it cannot be denied that it is a truth by looking at the current situation from the beginning of the season even not only in La Liga but also in the Champions League .

Manchester City are the favorite club especially since they are the defending champions but Madrid cannot be underestimated and this season i want a situation where Madrid can actually knock Manchester City out again in this competition just like the previous two seasons . It can still happen but it depends on the performance on the pitch and Madrid should not repeat last season second leg at the Etihad because it cost them dearly.

These two teams have even strengths so it is difficult to clearly determine who will be the best. Real Madrid and Manchester City must prepare equally good teams to make their progress to the next round smooth. Real Madrid has shortcomings in the back line, especially in the goalkeeper position, it is estimated that Thibaut Courtois will not be able to appear because he is still struggling with injuries, this will certainly be very detrimental to the team. Ancelotti is indeed an experienced figure but it will be very difficult for him to choose a squad because if there are regular players who cannot play then there will be no suitable replacement. I consider Manchester City more because they have a fairly good stock of players in all lines, Pep Guardiola is certainly very confident in facing Madrid if all his players don't experience problems during the match.
