I was Actually a little disappointed when Real Madrid and City had to meet in the quarter-finals. I think it's too early. I personally think that if the two teams met at the end of the competition, such as the semifinals or final, the atmosphere of the match would be more exciting. These two teams are everyone's favorites to win. And whoever wins this match will have a big chance of becoming champion. They are all big matchs. I predict the other team that will qualify for the final is Munich or Arsenal. They are quite solid this season.
Yes, most people wanted Real Madrid and Manchester City to play against each other in the UEFA Champions League semi-final or final. But it happened when these two clubs were playing each other in the quarterfinals of the UEFA Champions League. It could have been better if Real Madrid and Manchester City played in the semi-final so that the UEFA Champions League would still be interesting to watch.

I think that it will be still very much interesting to watch if Real Madrid gets eliminated.They barely managed to qualify against a much weaker Leipzig so if they keep playing like that against City it simply means that they will have a very hard time during such game and most likely they won't come victorious from this encounter.

I don't think Real Madrid is better than last year,quite the opposite I would say and how bad it looks now on Ancelotti that he said no to Mbappe some months ago,he is a player that can make a difference.
I'm not doubting that the UEFA Champions League will not be interesting if Real Madrid or Manchester City are knocked out in the quarterfinal. The interest in watching the UEFA Champions League will reduce because Real Madrid and Manchester City supporters will not want to watch the UEFA Champions League again when Real Madrid or Manchester City are knocked out.
With the way the fixtures have been made, we must accept that either Real Madrid or Manchester City will be eliminated in the quarter-finals. If the teams that qualified in the quarter-finals had been sorted according to their strength, we could have seen relatively strong teams in the semi-finals or finals, but that was not the case.  Since the competition will be between Manchester City and Real Madrid, we will see either team in the semi-finals. We usually consider the semi-final and final matches to be more competitive but this season the quarter-final might be the most competitive as the quarter-final contenders are Manchester City and Real Madrid.
