I think that BNB is a better competitor than Solana. It doesn’t matter if it’s copy paste from Ethereum or not. They happen to be the biggest and possibly the only competitor. The fact that Binance has integrated their whole exchange with BNB keeps selling them even more. If Solana must compete then maybe it can compete with BNB and not with Ethereum.
Both BNB and Solana are very centralized. BNB is virtually under the sole control of Binance and Solana is also very centralized by a few. Therefore, they may be a competitor to Ethereum in terms of use case, but not in terms of decentralization and network stability and security.
You make a good point there but every feature that each of these platforms have is what makes them. So in such a comparison, you just need to give an overall overview instead of splitting the features. If centralization/decentralization is all it was about then neither BNB nor Solana should be doing well. Yet they are.
