Could it be that I heard wrong? But it seems like this is an inevitable rumor and Barcelona reportedly wants to bring in its former coach from the 2014/2015 season, namely Luis Enrique. Of course we still remember that Luis Enrique led Barcelona to win the treble that season and this will be a much awaited reunion for the Barcelona squad if that happens. However, it certainly won't be easy to convince the Spanish coach because he is still focused with PSG on developing the existing squad further.

So I don't think Barcelona will be able to convince him to come back quickly, but if Barcelona still hopes he will come then it might take a long time. We know that his responsibility is still huge after being contracted by PSG last season, but his contract will also end in 2025. So, if his contract with PSG has ended, it is possible that Barcelona could offer a contract to bring back Luis Enrique, but that is if PSG does not extend his contract at the end of the season.

Is Luis Enrique the right option to replace Xavi? and if yes, what do you think?
This will be difficult for Luis Enrique because Barcelona is now very different, far worse than when he was still Barcelona coach, so if Luis Enrique returns it will be a threat to his coaching career.

Luis Enrique is currently the PSG coach and he hasn't proven anything with his new team so personally I really doubt that Luis Enrique can lift the performance of the Barcelona team which is currently slumping in a short period of time.

I think this is just a rumor, if Luis Enrique is not successful with PSG this season then he will be encouraged to make the team even better and fulfill management's targets if he is still trusted.
And if Luis Enrique is successful at PSG this season it is also unlikely that PSG management will let him go.
I thought like you and in fact it was not the same as Barcelona's glory when he was still the coach. Everything has changed from several structures to the polemics that exist at this club. I think Luis Enrique is an experienced coach and until his responsibilities are finished he will not leave PSG.

This rumor is quite ridiculous considering Barcelona's uncertain condition, which will put Luis Enrique under pressure if he returns to his former club. PSG certainly really trusts him and because of that he immediately got a 2 year contract and it is possible that the duration will be extended if he succeeds in proving his expertise in building a squad.

To be honest, no coach can handle Barcelona if the coach's request cannot be properly granted by the management, especially as every team is now competing to bring in potential players. I know Barcelona has a good academy but I think that's still not enough to compete in bigger competitions.
Luis Enrique has been the manager of Barcelona for a long time and during his tenure as manager for Barcelona he had players like Neymar, Messi, Luis Suarez, Pique under him. That period was a golden era for Barcelona as Barcelona competed hard with any team in Europe at that time and their win margin was high. As long as Luis Enrique was in charge of Barcelona, Barcelona had a tough competition with Real Madrid and if Real Madrid won one match, Barcelona won the next at any cost. After Luis Enrique left the charge of Barcelona, there have been many changes in the Barcelona club, several players have left and several players have arrived, but in the meantime we can no longer see the same competition from the Barcelona side.

Luis Enrique is currently in charge of PSG. Although the PSG team is not very strong, he has been consistent enough with this team this season and they are still in the Champions League competition. Luis Enrique is undoubtedly an army manager.
