Can the advice of loved ones even help?
Some family members may never understand and may act aggressively if they find out that you are a gambling addict. Gambling can be considered an abomination to many people who do not really understand it. To other family members who understand this, they may be able to offer useful advice without criticism. They may even be extra helpful to the extent of helping you get quality help from a professional or from a professional institute.
Yes it really depends on how the family members will react.I think though most families will support their family member who is having a problem and most likely will help them to get through their problem,in this specific case one of the biggest one the gambling addiction. The help of the family and support from family members can be a really big boost at least to me personally would be a really big boost so I can try and fight harder to stop gambling addiction,in the worse case when you have a family behind you that supports you in any situation you maybe there is not much that cannot be achieved, including to stop gambling addiction.
