It is true that cases like this often occur in the life of an addict. By pursuing victory, he dared to take big risks by betting without proper rules. An addict will spend all his money and sell his possessions to be able to gamble.
An addict has a weak conscience so he will do bad things that harm himself in the future by gambling with inappropriate money so that he will feel how stupid he is when it is all over and he has nothing left.
Yeah, that's usually how it goes.
Someone will get addicted, then lose all their money. Then, any money they can get their hands on will also evaporate.
It is a tricky situation to be in, and you don't want to have your money accessible to an addict.
They lose the self-control that made them like that, they no longer think rationally and will tend to fulfill their lust to continue gambling. This will continue to happen until they lose everything and even worse, maybe they will be at the point where their family will let them or leave them. When all that happens they will realize the mistake they made.
It's true that it's never too late, even if they've lost everything, but their process of waking up and regaining the trust of their family will take time. and usually in that process they need someone who will always be there beside them, because if not, maybe they will have much wilder thoughts. If we have a family member who is addicted like that, my advice is not to leave them, we can leave or let them, but what we do is just a form of punishment so that they realize their mistake, and when they realize it, it would be good if we could accompany them so they can get up and improve his life.
One of the main issues on why gambling is really that a profitable business is that gamblers are really that making those kind of unrealistic goals that they do have in mind on which it would really be pertaining mostly on how they would really be able to make themselves that rich with gambling. This is why they do push themselves at their limit or past beyond that. This is why as a gambler then it would really be better that you should really be just that playing for the sake of fun and not for making money. Dont chase up your loses because once desperation kicks in then it would really be that so damn hard to quit or control it out. If you arent that good when it comes to discipline or making good decisions then expect those unfortunate conditions later on.
