Has anyone here had to travel with their steelwallet? How did you play it cool? I'm all ears for tips, especially if there are any ninja moves for keeping the seed phrase under wraps in such situations.
I don't think it would be a smart idea to travel with a piece of steel with your seed phrase: besides the fact that it could raise some suspects in case of a more accurate inspection, you don't really have an immediate way to eventually cancel the seed phrase: let's say an agent take the plate and opens it, he's going to see the phrase and it could take it away with any excuse, and what do you do at that point? Unless you can immediately transfer your funds you are screwed.
People’s circumstances are unique, so even if it is not the best idea to travel with a piece of steel with your seed phrase, maybe the OP is forced to do it, now I will admit that unless there was no other way I would probably avoid the airport if I was trying to travel with such a wallet, since they have some of the best security around and you do not want to bring any unwanted attention to yourself , so if the OP could use another form of transportation that would be for the best, but if traveling through an airport was a must, I would probably destroy the steel wallet and bring my seed words with me through other means, as the risk of losing that wallet in some way is just too high in such a dynamic environment.
