Modric has already answered a hundred times about moving to Al-Nasr, he says that he really hopes to stay in Real Madrid, but the contract has not yet been signed. Perhaps there is nothing wrong with this, if a player feels that he is in good shape and can continue to play at a high level, then why should he not continue to play for his team. In any case, if his performance deteriorates, Ancelotti can always replace him.

There is also the problem that with age the likelihood of injury increases, remember how many injuries Ibrahimovic had when he continued to play in recent years. But Modric always seemed to be doing well, I don’t remember him spending much time with any kind of injury.

Anceloti bench Modric many times this season and I think that has to do with his age. What's the point of making him play when he can easily sustain injury, he is not as active as before, I think it's right time he pick another club and continue his journey, there are more of young players in the club that are young and can do better than in every way but I respect him for his experience.
What Ancelotti did with Modric was to provide more space for his young players to build a solid squad in the position that Modric would leave. Because the aim is to prepare a longterm squad and his contract at Madrid has never been extended. Madrid will have plenty of time at least to slowly fill the midfielder void. I understand Ancelotti goals and maybe Kross can still be a starter because his contract has been extended but that doesn't mean his position will not be replaced. Ancelotti needs time until next season because several new players will be brought in. The problem with Modric future is that he could retire or, as is rumored play in the SPL.
