130 million euros is too high for him even though he performed well at Newcastle but for a club that buys a player at too high a price there is a risk of incurring losses because there is no guarantee that he will perform as well or adapt well in his first season.
With the price set by Newcastle, it is actually a rejection of any club that wants this player.
Alexander Isak scored 15 goals for Newcastle with 1 assist and at his young age his future is quite bright, especially if he can get a better club, but still 130 million euros is too high for him, unless the team that wants him is Chelsea who are always willing to pay high for the players he is targeting, and I am sure that with the price set by Newcastle, Tottenham are out of the hunt.
Correct, Isak is nothing without Guimaraes and Trippier, most of his goals are just tap-in. His market value is 74 Million Euros, which I think overvalued, his market value should be around 40-50 Million Euros. Asking 130 Million Euros is way too much, it's better to spend that money to sign Leao, Osimhen, Musiala etc.

Just because Isak has a good statistic, it doesn't mean he's a top player.

And keep in mind that his statistic isn't outrageously good. He has scored 15 goals and out of those 15, 4 goals were scored by penalties. I would never put that guy at any three figure value, never.

As you said, top players like Leao or Musiala are worth that money, but not Isak. I am not sure about Osimhen at the moment as he isn't quite able to repeat what he has done last season. But I think these price tags suggest that a player should be able to maintain top form over the course of several subsequent seasons. It isn't enough to score a high number of goals one season and then play subpar the next season. Osimhen is at 11 goals for the season so far. That's not enough for a world class center forward. Leao is a different type of player. He is not mainly responsible for scoring goals. His main task is to assist and confuse the opponents's defense with his speed and technique.

Musiala is an amazing player with his impressive body weight balance. I never understand how he is doing many of his movements. It looks as if he was supposed to crash on the floor, but yet again stays up and makes some unexpected move.
