I hope they do. I haven't looked into any historic results yet, but it would be nice to know whether there was ever a team that won the Bundesliga without losing a single game. But I think there has never been a season that was finished without any losses. Guardiola in his best season with Bayern Munich got a loss and Heynckes got a loss too.

But yes, the chance is there to play a nearly perfect season. I guess perfect would be 34/34 wins, but still I think this could definitely be called perfect if they do in fact win the rest of the games until the end of the season.
I don't think there will be a team that scores 34/34 because we are talking about real football here. Injuries, suspended players, psychological conditions, everything affects this. Even if it were a game it would be very difficult to make 34/34. You may be able to win all your matches while playing FIFA, but many factors are different in real life. That's why I think Leverkusen is playing so well that it has won all its matches. If they complete the season undefeated, they will have achieved a record that will be difficult to break. They're very close to that.

That is why I said "won the Bundesliga without losing a single game". That does of course include draws. I know that 34/34 wins will probably never ever happen, but Leverkusen is on the way to break the 91 points record even though this is still a far way to go. It would mean nothing else but getting 19 points out of the remaining 7 games. In other words, 6 wins and 1 draw at least! Smiley

But they are getting closer to it although it should be kept in mind that they are soon playing away from home against Borussia Dortmund. I think with Dortmund gaining confidence at the moment, that game could be the one where Leverkusen will get their first loss for the season. It is also possible that by then they already won the Bundesliga title.
