He just beat Ryan Bourland recently who looks like not willing to fight and Jake is up again for another.
They should call this a fight but an exhibition but believe it or not is happening. You think Mike is done after Roy Jones but Jake wants to pull him again for he just needs recognition from the boxing community.
I would be surprised if Mike beats Jake. He is 60. Would you bet if its on Stake?
Jake Paul is set to fight former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson in a boxing match that will be livestreamed on Netflix.
The bout is scheduled to take place on July 20 at the AT&T Stadium in Texas and will be available to all Netflix subscribers. Additional information, including the co-main event and undercards, will be announced at a later date. It is being produced in a partnership between Netflix and Paul’s and Nakisa Bidarian’s Most Valuable Promotions (MVP).
This will not be the first time Paul and Tyson have appeared on a boxing card together. Paul fought in the co-main event of the pay-per-view that saw Tyson fight an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr. in 2020, which was Tyson’s first boxing match since 2006. Paul defeated former NBA player Nate Robinson via knockout in the second round in what was Paul’s second professional boxing match.
https://variety.com/2024/tv/news/jake-paul-mike-tyson-fight-netflix-1235932856/ - Fight between the old and the young; fight between the more experienced and the less experienced; fast action against slow action; and most of all, the weight of the fist and the stamina of the body will fight.
Mike Tyson may be old, and his actions may be a bit slow, but the weight of his fist is sure when he hits any part of his opponent, and he will still tremble with fear. The young boxer will experience the difference between today's boxer and the former world boxing champion in the ring.
When it comes to power then no doubt that Mike would really be having it even if he's old then we do really know that this man is a hard puncher and that something a trait that cant be changed.
Although age would really be taking up some toll but doesnt mean that it wouldnt be significant when he already aged. This one would really be looking interesting and i do want to see Mike
giving out some nasty lesson to Jake. Legendary boxer vs a clown i should say. hahaha
It would be better that Jake shouldnt really be taking this lightly or some sort of joke. I cant imagine on how he would really be able to handle those power punches
despite of being old. We do know its popularity and on where he's that famous of. Being old is just a number but those traits isnt something that
do fade up completely.
Legendary boxer vs Clown, You made me laugh so much when you said this, hahahah. But it makes sense, which I also think is true. Is that the type where you fight the black belter against the yellow belter? That's how it used to be for me that the gap is so far.
I can't imagine that you are going to fight the former heavyweight world boxing champion in the ring if you know that you are not a heavyweight. It's like what I'm still seeing there: steel vs. wood.
