Define "die". Monero is currently operating more efficiently than ever before. It truly offers privacy and is easy to use. Grin presents a nice concept, although it falls slightly short in terms of privacy compared to Monero, it compensates with significantly improved scalability. Personally, I pay with XMR my grocery shopping, and I'm certain it receives acknowledgment from other crypto enthusiasts as well. The fact that rich aren't investing in it doesn't diminish its attention. It still captures attention, quietly. It's just not the top store-of-value asset, that's all.
We shall not forget the purpose of cryptocurrency.
Slowly but surely fade into irrelevancy(but not total irrelevancy, because DN markets still use it).
How are you able to pay your groceries with XMR by the way? I doubt any grocery store natively accepts XMR(except a few here and there).
No disrespect to Satoshi but Bitcoin will be whatever people want to use it for; and so far — at least for now knowing we don't have a decent layer-2 yet, it's mostly for investment purposes.
