They have changed because they let it happen but yeah, that is a very usual thing to expect from a person who wins a big amount of money. But I believe that it was not only the money that caused their breakups, probably for another reason that only happens after winning the jackpot prize. Maybe if they had never won that prize, they'd be still together. But unfortunately, some things never work with money alone especially when our problem does not involve with money. Like if we need time together, money can't solve it or maybe, after the couple wins the jackpot prize, one of them becomes too addicted to gambling and spares no time with the family which is probably the main issue.
I suspect that there is no love between these two friends. You will always like to be with someone you love with or without money. And splitting the money with someone you cherish shouldn't be a problem because you want the person's happiness and comfort. However, this is a clear story of how money can change people overnight. From the picture, we could see them enjoying themselves as lovebirds but money changed everything. The problem is that the woman is not willing to give his ex-boyfriend anything which might be why the man is angry and is considering taking legal action.
His only blunder.was that he didn't transfer the money to his ex on time and I suspect he had no intention of doing that and only sent the money when he saw that she had won the jackpot. The lady might see this action as deceptive and therefore want to get rid of him. I will advise the man to move on with his life since the law recognizes only one winner and the person whose name is on the back of the ticket. This is not the end of the world. As long as there is life, there is always hope.
