I just don't get it. What puts such a intense hype on meme coins?

Making money = trading.I see a very interesting SOL project listing all these new Memecoins like Slothana or Dogwifhat
and just dont get the actual use case for it? I mean, dont we have enough memecoins on the market already with DOGECOIN or SHIBA INU?

Yes, we've got a lot of memecoins already but the community doesn't have control of the limitation for the creation of the new ones and that's why they keep on coming. Once the trend dies when many of these memecoins will start to decrease on their value, many investors will be off and gonna avoid them. Or much worse is when scammers also flocks into creating meme scam projects just as the NFTs and other projects famously known for rugpullsand just dont get the actual use case for it? I mean, dont we have enough memecoins on the market already with DOGECOIN or SHIBA INU?
