Roma managed to beat Lazio in the Roman derby and if Juve now fails to beat Fiorentina tomorrow evening in the away match it will be painful for the Turin people.
in the last 10 games they have lost 16 points from Roma, a big change on the bench for them, firing Mourinho and hiring De Rossi have completely changed their season.

In fact, sending Mourinho off the team was a big risk because he was a very experienced coach. He won the conference league and made Rome a finalist in the European league. That's why Roma made a risky choice and appointed De Rossi as the head of the team. It seems that this change was appropriate and Rome is doing very well this year.
I'm sure Roma has strong reasons for deciding to remove Mourinho as coach of the Roma team. At least yesterday when they won the match against Lazio, I hope Daniele De Rossi can give his best contribution to bring Roma to always win in every match, Daniele's target De Rossi must bring Roma to the top three this season.
Mourinho did what he could with Roma, yeah? He had good moments, but at the end of the day, the team needed something different. It's a tough call, but sometimes a change is what it takes for real growth. De Rossi... there's a guy who bleeds Roma. A club legend stepping into the coach's role, that's a whole new level, a fire I think this team's been missing. The win against Lazio? That's not just luck. That shows he knows how to get results, how to get these guys playing as a unit

The path to the top three though? Long and brutal. This league's stacked, so Rome won't waltz back in there without a fight. But De Rossi, his leadership, his deep understanding of the club, that's the kind of thing that can disrupt the whole scene. This shift could be exactly what this team needs to break through and shock everyone

I'm excited. There's a mix of that De Rossi's fresh energy and the pure grit of this Roma team that's got me thinking upsets are absolutely on the table. It won't be easy, and anyone who says otherwise doesn't know football. But I'll be watching and support these guys and see what they're really made of

Sometimes it doesn't matter how hard you try because in the end the Mourinho used for Roma was not working and he definitely had a bad performance in this team. Roma did not have enough good players during the last season and Mourinho was unhappy about that but they spent too much money and hired many expensive players to help their team. After that Mourinho was again unhappy about the performance of the team and he also started blaming the referees because of the bad performance they had.
Now with De Rossi, they are a fresh team as you said and I can see Roma is much more motivated than before. Roma has even a good chance to get the ticket for the Champions League.
