while I'm a strong man city fan and obviously would want them to defend their title, it's very possible that arsenal might go on to wining the league this season. It just requires being consistent till the last game of the Season and the rest will be story. Am I underrating the possibility that the table can turn and either Manchester City or Liverpool might possibly take the lead? That's not an impossible situation but with the look of things, th table might just end in this order
1. Arsenal
2. Manchester City
3. Liverpool.
All the games are very important for all these teams. It depends on which team has the winning mentality because all three teams still have the same chance. We just need to wait until the last match. It's like competing until the end of the season. The prediction sequence like the one you convey could also happen if Arsenal remains consistent until the end of the season.
However, with a difference of one point in the top three standings, it doesn't seem that far apart. Arsenal and Liverpool are still facing some tough teams, allowing several draws/loses. Meanwhile, Man City has almost no obstacles apart from meeting a strong team like Tottenham, the rest are weak teams. Of course Pep Guardiola has evaluated and is ready to overcome this. So if you look at the remaining matches, Man City has a great chance of getting the highest points at the end of the season.
