People dey always dey talk say power corrupt, power corrupt, yes most of us don talk am before, we dey think say na power dey corrupt person but the truth be say most of us already get corruption inside of us we only need the opportunity (power) to bring out the corruption in us. A man once said if you really want to know the person true self give him 3 things: Money, Power and Access to Sex. With this 3 things you can know any one true nature. So no be power dey corrupt, power only reveals corruption.
Power really corrupts but and it take the grace of God for someone to avoid power intoxication, to control power not too easy, just imagine you possessing the power of controlling a huge some of public fund, know one has the right to ask you how the funds are been spent unless in some cases of obvious misappropriation or reckless embezzlement of funds, power has made many Nigerian leaders to think that they can do anything they want and go free, African leaders possess so much that no one can question them unless there relationship with the parliament has been tainted.
Power does not only reveal corruption it corrupts too, without exposing someone to power he may not meet some corrupt people that will advise him on how to be corrupt, some person has good intentions when they are been given the mantle of leadership but some elements of corruption they will come across in their field might make them to go astray.
