Atletico Madrid are coming back to the La Liga after a really valuable win against Dortmund. I think they will reach next phase in the Champions League as well. Simeone is doing his best to keep a balance between the Champions League and La Liga. However they are still under danger of finishing out of top four in the league. 
In this month they are playing two tough league games against Girona and Athletic Bilbao. Both are home ones which could be seen as advantage. If they collect 6 points from these games I will be more confident about them to finish in top four. Otherwise they might be in trouble.
Even though they often don't get good results lately, Atletico still proves their quality when they are in bigger competitions and the victory against Dortmund means a lot for their players to continue to get other wins in La Liga. This week they will face Girona first of all and indirectly this is one of the key matches for Atletico to cut points from Girona in the standings.In this month they are playing two tough league games against Girona and Athletic Bilbao. Apart from that, against Bilbao the situation will be very similar to against Girona and there is no reason for Atletico not to win. Because if Atletico loses in these two matches, it is certain that they will not be able to stay in the top four for longer and that will make it easier for Bilbao to overtake Atletico. I wonder if Atletico can still finish in the top four when the competition will be tougher at the end of the season.
