At the start of the season, Juventus' performance looks more convincing so they have the opportunity to compete for the Scudetto with Inter Milan. However, over time, Juventus' performance declined slightly so that they fell further behind Inter Milan at the top of the standings. It is no longer possible for Juventus to catch up on the points that Inter Milan has collected because currently Inter Milan is so comfortable at the top of the standings.
Juventus just need to maintain their current position and they need to play more consistently in order to qualify for the Champions League next season, although finishing in the top four at the end of the season will also qualify. If they fail to maintain consistency then Bologna will be a threat to Juventus because currently they are only four points apart.
That's right, there will be 6 rounds left in the season, meaning the possibility of competing for the Scudetto only exists in theory. Currently, AC Milan and Juventus are only trying to stay in the top 4 position. Obviously, if you can't win the championship, it doesn't matter where you stand in the Top four.
AC Milan is so secure in the Top 4 of Serie A that they can play a few bad matches without worrying about being threatened. Accordingly, coach Piolo and his team hold 68 points/31 games. As for Juventus, they should be careful with Bologna and AS Roma because these two teams can knock Juventus out of the top 4 when they are clinging to Juventus. A victory over Torino will be a way for Juventus to strengthen their position better.
To be fair Inter already got everything, and I do wish that they were at UCL too but they just lost and maybe that's for the best, they could simply start working on next season already. What I mean is that, they do not have anything work towards this season, they have what they have and there is no reason to keep thinking about anything else, so why would they end up with anything different.
So, they could focus on the current season and I believe that the best thing to do would be focusing on how they could get better. I get this, but that will of course take some time. I believe that the greater help for Inter would be start scouting, and also trying to find clubs to sell the players they do not want next season and start a chat right away even now.
