Manchester City has been facing tough opponents lately. They still have a Champions League match against Real Madrid on Wednesday of next week, which they can win, but it will be tough. As everyone knows, Luton Town is a formidable opponent, and Manchester City must perform well to defeat them. They really need to win the match because they need to keep up their competition with Arsenal and Liverpool for the Premier League title. Playing for the Premier League title this season will also impact Manchester City's performance in the Champions League. Despite having a stronger roster, Manchester City is a team that will stop at nothing to maintain its competitiveness in all leagues.
Real Madrid knows how to play champion league football, which is why I always trust them. The next match between Manchester City and Real Madrid will be extremely difficult because we all know what kind of team Real Madrid is: they can play both home and away games and are prepared to defeat any opponent they face. If we later witness Real Madrid defeating Manchester City at Etihad Stadium, we shouldn't be surprised because Real Madrid wants to play the second leg of the match with power.
I don’t understand how Luton is a tough opponent for City, especially as City are in the chase for the EPL. At this point, you can’t count Luton as a tough opponent for City. City whenever they’re chasing the league they don’t consider any opponent as tough because they have a formidable team.
The team’s depth is so strong that it can get and destroy the toughest opponents just like how they did to Madrid in the UCL. Well the season is about to end and the club is still in the chase for the ELL with the likes of Arsenal and Liverpool who aren’t looking relentless at all.
At this point one will expect City too not to drop point and I understand you already consider Luton as a team trying to survive relegation and wanting to spoil the party for City and be able to at least get a point off City. I dont think that will be the case in this fixture as City looks very fierce and will sure be able to defeat Luton by the weekend.
The 2nd leg between Madrid and City is still an open game as any team can be able to get the victory and I’m still bery confident on Madrid getting the victory because they’ll be playing with fiercer strength as compared to Man City and I have high hopes of them being able to go through to the Semis.
