Most probably Liverpool is forced to win tomorrow together with Arsenal after City destroying Luton in today game, for Liverpool I am afraid of their psychological level as they were defeated 0-3 in Anfield from Atalanta in midweek in Europa League and I don't remember when it was last time Liverpool suffered such a defeat at home,it must be quite a looooong ago.
Liverpool will have to win by many goals, Manchester City already have passed them on goal difference, and that is not where Liverpool would like to be. Arsenal will also need to score goals too because Manchester City are closing in on their goal advantage. Jeremy Doku played very well in the game today, scored a very nice goal and created enough chances for his teammates. The Manchester City coach will be proud because he has been able to win this game very well, while resting some important players like Phil Foden and Rodri because they still have serious games coming up.
Manchester United are the team left to play today, another loss will not sit well with their supporters.
Yes they have enough fixtures ahead but most importantly, the reason why for. The rest was for the next game coming up against Real Madrid at Etihad next week.
Even with the absence of these names, Kovacic and Nunez who I feel like replaced them did well by scoring a beautiful volley and assisting.
Jeremy Doku needed that goal for confidence, he had gone weeks without scoring and performance to was a good way to start. They all should remain fit and sound because they have pressing matters like the Euro's further ahead.
Erling Haaland Aldi was able to sloth one home from the spot kick created by Jeremy Doku. A good way to be ready for Real Madrid. Back to Back goals also for the Croatian Gvardiol.
I believe that the victory today by Manchester united in Etihad would be a motivation for them to win their UCL match which would be played in Etihad stadium. It was good to see some players that have not been consistent with scoring goals recently, managed to net the post today.
Luton might end up in relegation if they don't work hard and win more matches so that they can be ahead of Nottingham forest, in order for them to survive the season. Liverpool needs more goals to be able to compete with the other two clubs.
