How to get ETHARBO gas to pay for swapping USDC ARB1?

I'm holding USDC (ARB1) on Exodus. I chose the ARB1 network for sending USDC thinking it would be easy and cheap to swap plus I wouldn't need to deal with ETH at all. I didn't realize I would need to deal with ETH again. I want to swap it for HBAR or any other coin to dump this USDC, but Exodus says I first need 0.0001 "ETHARBO" for gas.

Anyway, I already have ETH in my Trust Wallet so first do I swap some ETH (Ethereum network) for some ETH (Arbitrum network) then send that ETH (Arbitrum network) from Trust Wallet to ETH on the ARB1 network in the Exodus wallet? Would that be correct?

Problem is I only need 0.000105 ETH for that tx, but the network fee is $127 (0.3476 ETH).

How can this be?

p.s. I also noticed that on some exchanges they don't even list what network the USDC/USDT is on. It only says USDC or USDT. In those cases, how do I know what network I should use to transact?

Thanks in advance
