But dip to an emotion, is it really possible for someone to have time spent in watching a game without that mindset of having a slight like of supporting a team? Or having your wishes that one should win?

I have actually tried to watch some games without being a sided to a particular team but just sit and just enjoy watching but it doesn't work out that way for me.
My instincts will always be a sentimental judge of side one side. Lol.

Hmm. @snipie, I do not know how yours possibly works for you or do I say you only sits and watches how your prediction goes? I think even at the pool of your Predictions that would still mean that you are a fan to one sided. Maybe that could be a tempora fan at just the moment and after that the whole memories disappears without being troubled that your fans team lost the match.
