The hardship in Nigeria increase day by day the massive are suffering. The poor old men and women. That doesn't have access to bank are suffering.
I am confused. Did you mean people with not enough funds to open a bank account?
Just imagine a pregnant woman died in a hospital just because there was no cash the network was bad for transfer.
So the bank was just down? How long was the bank inactive and inaccessible for you to question the credibility of your leaders already?
Isn’t this just a temporary issue that can be given a solution with time? I mean if the hospital needs the payment from the bank they can definitely wait for a little more time if needed.
This thread was created when Nigeria was facing a very hard time. There was no cash in circulation, the country was forcing its citizens to embrace cashless economy while things were not put in place. There was no money in the bank and people will queue for 12hrs only to go home without cash. There was also a problem of bad network to make mobile network transfer. Little did we know that what happened then was an introduction to what we are facing now.
The problem of Nigeria is complicated, even the election that OP mentioned was conducted and the judiciary installed another candidate against the vote of the masses. This was when I gave up in Nigeria matter. Once the common man is deprived his ability to choose his leaders, it is finished. The corrupt politicians use the masses money to keep themselves in power.
