For those who are having difficulty maintaining a certain number of push-ups in each set, such as doing 15 push-ups each in 5 sets, when you are doing your push-up, do not be in a rush to complete your push-up. Always take a minimum of 20 minutes to rest before you can start another set so that you will have enough strength to do the same number of push-ups you did in your first set.
This is very important, we don't have to take the challenge as a military work. Yes we have to be committed to the challenge, but it shouldn't come to you as a burden. If you make it looks like a burden to you, you won't enjoy the challenge. You should spread out your sets, so don't be much of a stress to you. Moreover nobody is punishing you for not doing all sets at a stretch.
That is absolutely true, in as much as people would like to participate in this challenge and meet ups total push up per set and fulfil the desire of fulfilment of each push up a day, there is need not to handle it under pressure just as you said no body is forcing any one. Though it depends on it individual just as JJG said that
If our bodies are not necessarily young, and so if we do pushups throughout the day, there may be 3-6 hours between sets.. this means that age has to play a role here and if age is neglected it will affect some people immensely. Though I believe that each person can not go contrary to his capacity
I quite agree with you on giving it a break but what's in you is in you and nothing can take it away from you.
I disagree with you on this because pratice make perfect they said does not implies in push up. Push up is an exercise that involves a regular exercise that involves consistency which if is not done on a regular basis may turn a person lazy. Just take a break for only one week and see how body system works when not continuously doing something. Our body system works with addiction. When you do something more frequently it becomes part of you and hard to stop. And when you stop, it will need you to start again to become addicted as before.
