I don't think that things are so bad with online gambling and the majority of gamblers is not becoming addicted to online gambling. While online gambling might be a new form of entertainment for many people, the whole concept of virtual entertainment is not new at all. Ever since the rise of the internet so has the gaming industry and is developing new blockbuster games every year. Among my friends everybody has spent some time as a teenager gaming on their PC or console. So, sitting alone in your room and looking at the screen is nothing new. None of my friends became addicted to gaming and are also now not addicted to gambling. The only new thing is that now is real money involved in the games.
