There is no doubt that Real Madrid is the best team in Europe due to the achievement they have gotten in European competitions but let us not hype them too much because that was how Liverpool was hyped and they were knocked out of the Europa league by Atalanta so sometimes, club goes through some difficult challenges even when they meet a lesser opponent
I don't think the depth of your judgement as stated is enough to already see Real Madrid as the best team in the whole of Europe, if it's by achievement, i know they have been able to achieve quite a whole lot and they are deserving of every of it because they have been able to show through their performance in the fact that they deserved all of that which they have gotten over the years as they have been participating in the competitions.

The strength of a team is usually very relative a d that's in the fact thst there are areas where they have got strength and aswell area where there's also to be seen weakness to but them been able to exercise their strength over their weakness isn't a guarantee or enough to see them as the best team and that's why i think it's a perfect idea to make it seasonal probably they could be this season and next it may go to another team because there are team that looks better in some season a d the other they are looking worse than you would have expected of them.

It's not even about the hype, they could be hyped and still win the trophy and still not be Hyped a d still not win so either ways they are only good if they are at the point in time and they should just enjoy it while it lasts, because there was actually a time when they weren't such good but then at this point they are as it's still very possible there will be a time they will beless good at such time they get to improve.

I don't think it's an exaggeration at all, because until now Madrid has left it very vague that they were facing one of the best so far, and it was Manchester City, and in the end that team is a machine and they can't say no, So far he has beaten everyone in his field, I am dying to see the classic tomorrow, because I am sure that things can turn out very well for Madrid, Barcelona is out and many teams have come out that are good, so now If they are being classified as the best in Europe, of course it is not good to feel victorious until they win the League or win the UCL, but I think that if they are on the right path, at least they are above Barcelona and that already means a lot.

The Manchester City Superiority Fallacy—And Carlo’s Genius

Quote
There is a lot of discussion about how Manchester City dominated Real Madrid on Wednesday. For instance, Jamie Carragher implied that the better team lost by mentioning that the best team does not always win the Champions League. The evidence for this claim is solid: Counting this season, there have been 70 editions of the Champions League, and English teams have won it only 15 times. Obviously, the best team has not won the title at least 55 times.

This is baloney. Discounting referee errors—or potential intentional errors if you ask Chelsea fans about the 2009 semifinal—the best team always wins. The explanation is simple: The better team scores more and concedes fewer. The detractors’ problem is that their criteria for what constitutes a better team are subjective to their opinions and not the scoreboard. For instance, possession and creating chances are important, but finishing chances and brilliant goalkeeping are not.
