After I saw the good performance from Real Madrid against Manchester City in the previous game they had in the Champions League, I think Real Madrid had an epic performance and Ancelotti knows how to beat even stronger teams because beating Gadudiola was not easy at all. I think if Real Madrid has the good performance we saw from them against Manchester Cityagaginst other teams like Bayern Munich, they can easily beat Bayern Munich because compared to Manchester City, Bayern Munich is not a strong team, especially after losing the Bundesliga title to Leverkusen.

Pep Gadudiola always makes a mistake when he is playing an important match, he use to use his substitution to sabotage himself in big games. Real Madrid and Manchester city are good teams and they gave us an entertaining game. Penalty should not be use to judge who is a better team because penalties are game of luck. Good teams that do not have good penalty takers will lose against a bad team that have good penalty takers. Real Madrid had alot of experience with their penalty takers and they use that to defeat Manchester city. Pep Gadudiola substitution also caused it and he is to be blame somehow because why will he substitute some players that can be very good at taking penalty. He was not thinking about a penalty shootout but wanted to win the game in regular time and this made him to substitute good penalty takers out of the game.

I guess that is true. But at the end of the day penalty is always a 50-50 chance. It can go either way. And Real Madrid had a plan which they were able to execute perfectly. I think rather than talking trash about Manchester City, we have to give credit to Real Madrid. Because I thought they were going to lose this one. At least looking at the way City was playing, I thought Manchester City was definitely going to score at any given time. But Real Madrid was pretty solid defending. Now Manchester City has to win the English Premier League title. Real Madrid is not worrying about the La Liga title too much right now. But they have Buyer Munich ahead of them.

Basically, it is a 50-50 chance, but I have to say that the penalty Silva wasted was a disaster. I would never dare to take a penalty that way against Real Madrid in the quarterfinals (or any other stage for that matter). These guys have great technique and are able to put these penalties very precisely into the corners. Why don't they just focus and then execute like Ronaldo did most of the time. There is no chance for the goalkeeper to get his hands behind a penalty that is taken with force and precision. I would rather hit the post and lose than the way that Silva wasted it. It's dumb to do that. Of course you can always fail to score a goal and maybe the goalkeeper is on point that day and anticipates the right corner a couple of times. But tipping the ball into the middle like that, I would have screamed at him as a coach.
