Greeting everyone. I was newly introduced into the system by a friend who made me to have so much interest in the system with the zeal and the passion to learn and gain adequate experience on the system but one of the major problem I'm having now is that I'm not well clarify of what merit entails and as such I will be very grateful if any good minded person can kindly throw more light on that to enable me understand in details and also benefit from the system.
A piece of advise I strongly suggest you will be needing to keep you going progressively on the forum, which is, don't go chasing for merits as that will be the wrong way to go. Rather, go for knowledge, learn and add to the little I believe you already know and heard about cryptocurrency  as a newbie. Your growth in the forum is in how much of a beneficial knowledge you can give/contribute to the community. That's the secret of how merit are attracted which in extension is the purpose of the meriting system.

This is a good advice to the newbie, some newbies join this forum because they've heard that ranked up members earn BTC rewards in signature campaigns, and to be eligible you'll need to get enough merits to rank up. When they join and the merit is not coming their way as fast as they'd expected, they'll become very frustrated and their morale will become low to continue in the forum. It's best to join the forum as a newbie, with the intention to learn about Bitcoin and the crypto space, gain knowledge and theoretical experience on it's investment and trading, that will be more beneficial in their crypto journey.

Let getting merit to be a secondary desire for any newbie in the forum, when they've increased their crypto knowledge and begin to manifest it in quality posts, other forum members will notice the posts and some will reward it with merit.
