I also thought like that but it seems we were wrong about Leverkusen and they continued to progress without ever tasting victory. But at the moment there are still a few matches left and if we talk about the next match against Stuttgart, I think Leverkusen can still overcome this. The reason is that in the first meeting at the start of the season, Leverkusen did have difficulty facing Stuttgart but they were able to stage a comeback win in the 90th minute and that was enough proof of how their mentality works.

Not only against Stuttgart, Leverkusen has repeatedly survived defeat with a last minute goal and I think that will still be the case against Stuttgart in the second round. Although there are doubts that this will be Leverkusen's first defeat this season, I still believe they are capable of continuing their unbeaten record.
The Bundesliga trophy tussle as of now is no longer on between Leverkusen and Munich and beyond every doubt, it has been proven that it was meant to rest in Leverkusen's cubicle. They've being consistent this season, and all games played in all competitions, they've incurred just 5 draws. This is one record that Munich has failed to achieve this season as there's been couple of game week loopholes and losses and this has cost them their attaining the toppest spot on the league table. The remaining games in the league are very much rosy for Leverkusen considering the first leg performances and results and also judging based on their approach to games.

Over the years, every season, we've seen certain teams leading the top chart of the Bundesliga and there's been some levels of consistency especially for Munich who's most of the time finished at the first position. Before now, Leverkusen and Stuttgart weren't even seen near the top four, it was always a Munich, Dortmund show but there's been much of a difference this season. Now there was a rub shoulders between these teams, Leverkusen and Stuttgart who had been on the sidelines for past seasons but this season have now come up to be competitive for the trophy. But of the teams so far in the contest, Leverkusen have been unique.

Leverkusen have been impressive in all rounds and it's not surprising that they're now better than some already grounded teams. It only means that Xabi has a unique managing quality which can be of essence in bigger teams too. I believe he's still got good plans for the German team, which will still be manifested good. In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest.
