A big competition is going to happen between Barcelona and Girona. Girona is only two points behind Barcelona. And both of them have a match against each other. They are going to fight for the second position. I believe for both of the teams it actually means something to be the runner-up of the La Liga competition. For Barcelona, it means having some pride in finishing in the second position. For Girona, I believe finishing on the first three positions is already a big improvement. But finishing in the second position and finishing above Barcelona is something of an achievement in itself. But they will also have to win the other matches that are left for them. I don’t know if Girona will be able to be so consistent at this stage.

I'm not surprised at all before anything else. I was even expecting closer odds than that considering their conditions in the standings and their previous head-to-head in the league as well. Girona beat them by 4-2 before. Of course there is a better Barcelona recently despite the El Clasico loss. Even in the El Clasico they fought really hard at Santiago Bernabeu. These teams are already comfortable for a Champions League quota. My expectation from this game is both teams to score & over 2.5 goals which has 1.63 odds.
Barcelona's quality is significantly greater than it was in their previous game against Girona which was also losing against michel's club. I don't doubt Barcelona's ability to beat Girona is still there and the club is coming back again with better combination as some young players have been successfully adapting to the main squad. Girona's odds are significantly better because it is playing at home and barcelona played as away game. The bookies was favoring barcelona through gave it smaller odds than barcelona but the small odds for Barcelona to win are quite tempting. I strongly believe Barcelona's victory is the best option for bettors willing to take the risk. I believe BTTS is a reasonable option for a low-risk bet in this game. That's very similar to when Girona faced Atletico Madrid. Losing to Madrid may put Barcelona under pressure, but I am confident that this can be resolved as soon as possible.
Barcelona's main goal is now to secure a UCL spot, which they have already accomplished. It is impossible for Barcelona to win the La Liga title this season considering how real madrid is leading the competition and it needs fewer matches to get the trophy. The match against Girona meant nothing, but it means a lot to us as bettors.
Girona may face the same outcome as when it played Atletico Madrid. Girona won against Atletico Madrid in the first leg, but lost by a large margin in the second leg. The result will be very familiar.
