Yup, for now there is no hope for Liverpool in the race for the trophy because looking in terms of points they have lost a lot in the last few matches because if you look at the results in the last 5 matches that Liverpool did in the EPL only 1 win they got, 2 draws and 2 losses that made their points faltered.
For Arne Slot I also think the same thing as you although he is quite good at Feyenoord but in the end the competition in the Eredivisie will be very different from Liverpool especially before he became Liverpool coach for next season I rarely even heard his name mentioned. But the decision has been made and we just have to hope that with Klopp leaving and being replaced with Arne Slot next season it doesn't make the transition too far in terms of Liverpool's scheme and way of playing.

For Chelsea's match today they played very well, it's just that their problem is the same as Liverpool where they don't seem to be too ready to deal with the fast counter-attacks made by the opponent which makes the first half not go as expected but overall I think they are much better especially with 1 point obtained and the style of play on the field is much better than the beginning of the season.
