Exposure to negative effects of gambling might also help us distance ourselves from getting addicted to gambling itself. It's all psychological I think. The better our understanding on losses and our status as a gambler and as per experiences with other gamblers around that had ended their gambling journey so badly might I think taught us or our friends lessons to be a responsible gambler.
apart from providing an understanding of the bad effects of gambling and being able to manage gambling or gambling wisely, in my opinion it would be better if you didn't expect to be able to double your money quickly from here.
because I see that gambling has shifted from being just a game for fun to instead being used to seek multiple profits quickly. This can result in excessive addiction and make you lose everything, both financially, time, and the trust of your relatives or family.
