Yes, many are bothered because if you have a normal salary, you pay almost half of it to the government. It's true that you get benefits back but 40% is too much to my mind, that really bothers me, especially when I have never used sick leave or visited a hospital since I remember But such a system also helps others who desperately need it, so people are fine with it.
