Leverkusen won the title a long time ago and to win the title while they are unbeaten is a huge record for them but they have maintained their unbeaten streak so far. In the last match they played in the Bundesliga, they were not defeated but drew again in favor of VfB Stuttgart. In matches in other leagues, big teams sometimes get beaten by smaller teams and that is normal, but in the Bundesliga they have started the season with a plan where they have no losing record. In the remaining matches of the season, this team may be undefeated and the German league team may secure one more title after being undefeated in the European League.
I am happy for Leverkusen and Alonso for winning the Bundesliga title unbeaten, they are the best team in the Bundesliga this season even though Bayern Munich and Dortmund are still the Champions League semifinal, they have break the monopoly of only Bayern Munich winning the Bundesliga title for long since Dortmund is always failing even after several years of trial.
I must commend Alonso’s effort for given other players chance to participate after they have won the trophy, but he needs to be very careful in the remaining three matches so as not to lose a match in order to set record for themselves in the history of Bundesliga.
Yes a big Congratulations to Alonso and his team Bayer Leverkusen for breaking the history of Bayern Munich winning the league back to back for yet another season and yes they have won the league with an unbeaten record but the league is not over yet for us to know if they will end the league playing unbeaten or they will lose matches before the end of the season they will.
I think the Bayer Leverkusen coach Xabi Alonso decided to introduce other players in his last match to reduce the fatigue that some of his first team players has been suffering and to keep them feet against Roma n their Europa league semi finals match in Italy. Bayer Munich and Dortmund is in the semi finals in the champions league but even though one of them ends up winning the champions league it doesn't affect the performance of Leverkusen this season especially if they end up winning the Europa league cup and the league cup again this season.
