Look, I get why folks want to believe in this Pi Network thing.  The idea of mining free crypto on your phone sounds pretty neat and  and hey, who wouldnt want some magical internet money for nothing? But lets be real - if it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. 

As far as I can tell Pi Network is basically vaporware at this point.  They make all these fancy claims about building a cryptocurrency mainnet someday, but its all just promises so far.  And even if they do launch it, what guarantee is there that the coins will have any value? You cant actually use Pi for anything right now.

Plus, I gotta wonder what exactly they are doing digging around in people's phones in the name of mining.  That sets off some alarm bells for me.  Legit cryptocurrencies dont work that way for a reason - it opens up security risks and privacy concerns.

Maybe Im being too cynical here.  ButUntil I see some real proof that Pi Network is more than smoke and mirrors Im not going to waste my time on it.
