After their success in the Bundesliga and winning the trophy for the first time in history, it has become very more obvious that they will win the Europa League trophy this season and also the DFB cup will be theirs because their opponent in the final will not give them a tough time winning the title. I was more concerned for them about the Europa League title but after their win over Roma in the first leg of the semifinals, I now have more confidence in them in making it to the finals. Irrespective of the team that will make it to the finals in the other side (either Marseille or Atalanta), they can beat them to win the Europa League title. A treble this season is very much possible this season.
That's not necessarily the case, before we actually see or Leverkusen claim two other trophies, namely the Europa League and DFB Pokal. that doesn't mean I'm not sure, in fact I supported Leverkusen from the start before the Europa League started. But football is unique, because there are many possibilities that can happen. something unexpected could happen, after all the ball is round and nothing is certain in every fight. a strong team can collapse at any time, especially when overall they experience poor performance. It is not impossible that things like this will not happen to Leverkusen even though so far they have always been consistent.
However, based on theory and in my personal opinion, Xabi Alonso's squad will be able to do it and make it happen. well, even though they won the first leg against Roma, there is still a second leg and the next match if they qualify from the semifinals. this is a match, winning must be realized and defeat is certain and normal in the world of sports.
