Erling Haaland had a very great match with four goals and contributed to his team a lot. This helps Manchester City to have only one point behind Arsenal with one extra match that was suspended and will be replayed soon.
These four goals help Haaland to create very big advantage against other players in the Best Scorer Award in this season. Isak and Palmer won't have good support from their team mates because we know Manchester City are stronger than Newcastle United and Chelsea. With less support and with 5 goals less than Haaland, both Isak and Palmer will need magic to catch Haaland in this individual race.
Haaland just silenced the critics who assumed he's not more a goal scoring machine. Haaland playmaking and goal scoring prowess is outstanding when he's in form and I don't think the most close competitors (Palmer and Isak) will be able to catch up with him again considering their teams and the games remaining. Manchester city know what they are after and we should expect more of this from them in order to achieve that. Fortunate for Haaland, he's surrounded by a group of good players who need a good a finisher for the job to convert the chances and he is readily available for that task.
Cole Palmer and his squad not seem to be in good term since the incident of that penalty drama against Everton. Without support from teammates, a single player will not be able to achieve much especially when you have a rival like Haaland who's getting every assistance possible from teammates. Chelsea squad now consist of immature players beefing each other unnecessarily. They played selfishly in their last match denying each other goal all in the name of being in the score board.
