Sure Bitcoin is the most popular coin because Bitcoin is the number 1 crypto coin. We know that Bitcoin is like the mother of all crypto coins. So, it is impossible that people don't know Bitcoin if they know altcoins. I think it is very reasonable that people know Bitcoin first before the know altcoins. Know crypto = know Bitcoin, it is what I learn so far.
