I also came across many old users that still have around like $50,000,000 in their wallets still but havent been active for years. I wonder if these wallets are abandoned.
That is interesting. I'm sure that many of them probably are abandoned. Maybe purposefully, or maybe the users have since died or lost their keys... One thing is for certain though and that is there are far less BTC in circulation than is thought to exist. Just how much less is anyone's guess, but I think it's enough to where it has a significant effect on the market cap. A shame that early on there are so many folks who lost so many precious BTC. I'm sure that helped establish a growing market early on though.
