Addiction is a very difficult thing to comprehend for those that have never experimented, as the addicted takes actions that go against their own interests, but their mind is so warped and their priorities so out of place they cannot understand their lives without gambling anymore, which makes them to sacrifice everything for it, a huge mistake as one day they will realize what they have done, and they may try to get their life back on track and they may find themselves alone without anyone willing to help them out.
An addict can still think like a normal person, they don't experience madness where their mind is disturbed and they can't think like normal people in general, so it's true that their thoughts are distorted but they can still think like an ordinary person so the one who can control it is their own mind, even people Even if you are crazy, you can be cured with brain therapy and given the right treatment, so gambling addicts are the same, even though they have difficulties and have lost their direction, they can still think, unlike people who have mental disorders. A person who is addicted to gambling has an excessive passion for the gambling they play because of the pressure they often experience losing so that their ambition to win makes them uncontrollable.

But that doesn't mean that a gambling addict has to experience bad luck continuously. He needs help. Even though addicts are a little stubborn, their minds are disturbed and maybe only a rehabilitation center can handle their chronic addiction, so even though they are currently living a difficult life. One day if they recovered, he will realize and perhaps avoid the gambling that caused his life to be ruined.
