The government wants to always portray itself as a perfect entity. They want the public to believe that they are performing well whereas they are going through a lot of problems. Social media could be a good source of data because you will have an honest report since the people are responsible directly. Sometimes I will be surprised by the economic data published by our government because they do not reflect the current economic conditions suffered by the people. They will come up with employment data that shows that more jobs have been created meanwhile businesses are closing down due to inflation. It Is also necessary to state that the best means of gathering data is through systematic research and not through random social media responses.
