Are you for real mate? Hardware wallets are indeed very safe but if you fail to adhere to simple healthy wallet practices, you could lose your funds.
Yes, I'm real for sure mate, I will say once again that I don't recommend hardware wallets and neither I use those myself. I believe open-source software wallets like Electrum are 10x better than hardware wallets.
That's bullshit and anyone who has even the slightest notion of security knows it. Cases like this are very rare and are usually due to seed theft and the like. The last case I remember similar to this on a Spanish forum, the OP ended up admitting that he saved a photo of the seeds he had written on his paper on his iCloud Drive. So it's not a failure of the HW but a human failure to expose his seeds.
