That's kinda true, but alot people do bet not , for the fun but for the profit they might endup with if they hit the jackpot. Though gambling is fun and all that , and it is way more exciting whenever yah doing it with friends. But honestly speaking I don't actually take gambling as something that exciting. I have other stuff that I may find exciting, like having quality time with my love ones.
Would anyone actually debunk this as false narrative? We gamble for money and whatever comes later is just a compliment. The money is the main motivation while the fun is just the spare part that comes with gambling, there is no fun when you don't win. Most of the time, if we want to be honest with ourselves majority of people are after the money in gambling, if they really want to have fun, there are other outdoor activities that will give them more fun.
About the excitement really depends on the mood and the outcome, how I'm going to be excited when I didn't win anything, what's the excitement about when you have loss your money. There is excitement but it comes with winning money first, if there is money involved I will be more than excited but again that depend on my mood for that day.
