I don’t see anything bad in gambling, the only thing bad about gambling is addiction. In most societies, addicted gamblers already make people believe that gambling is a bad activity, so if you are found in a society like this, if people know that you are a gambler, they will start thinking you are a bad person in the society. They don’t care if you are an addicted gambler or just gambling for fun. If I am in a society like this, I will always hide my gambling activity because I won’t want to spoil my reputation in the society. It’s better that nobody knows that I am a gambler.
 
Maybe when people know that there is a difference between an addicted gambler and a normal gambler, then I won’t be hiding my gambling activities any longer because I will make everyone who knows I am a gambler understand that I only gamble for fun and am not addicted to gambling.
